Q11- Sounds too good to be true!

A11: Actually no, it’s simply an effective and well established “Export-Promotion Tool” that is found in most industrial countries around the world. Our research shows a correlation between the number of such publications, and the degree of success of the export industry in a specific market (India and China are good examples). The publication is designed and intended to help your business fully utilize its export potential and capture those global opportunities that are rightfully yours.

Q12- Are you one of those “Online Business Directories”? If not, what is the difference between you and them?

A12: No. In fact, we have our own Online Business Directory that contains 1.2 million businesses, but that is offered for free (See it at www.canadianexports.org/directory). The main differences are:

1-       “Canadian Exports” contains less than 300 businesses per issue, whereas a “Business Directory” contains millions; advertising with us therefore gives you a true “stand-out” within an eager marketplace.

2-       “Canadian Exports” contains ONLY exporters, unlike a “Business Directory”, which contains any and every business; this further increases the relevance and potential of your profile.

3-       “Canadian Exports” is a preferred, trusted and popular way of breaking into new markets and/or increasing market share for successful companies around the world.

4-       “Canadian Exports” travels the world in search for new markets and new buyers so that you don’t have to; in contrast, a “Business Directory” is a static online tool; a passive online resource.

Q13- What is the method of payment? Do I have to give my bank account info or credit card number over the phone?

A14: No. We never ask for, or take, any personal or confidential information such as your bank account or credit card numbers. The invoice is mailed to you and you can pay by cheque, PayPal or “Interac e-mail money transfer”.

Q14- Is there a deadline for us to approve the order and make the payment?

A14: Yes, there is a deadline for every issue, in accordance with the printing schedule. The sales consultant who takes your order will let you know about the current deadline.

Q15- How do we sign up to be included in the publication?

A15: Our sales consultant will take your order over the phone. Once your order has been verified with you by our customer service (or the verification) department, we will create and e-mail you a profile of your business (from your website or from any other source that you provide) and list you online. After that, the payment must be made. However, you still can review, modify and make necessary changes to your profile and send them back to us. In fact, there is no limit on how many times you can do that. We will also provide you with a username and a password to enable you to manage your account on your own. Your profile (ad) is sent to the printing company to be in the next issue of “Canadian Exports”.
